Abstract

"Modern dual and disengagement couplings for hybrid vehicles are renowned for their high level of comfort and efficiency compared to traditional manual transmissions. This is only possible if the clutch actuator is fast and precise irrespective of the changing environmental influences such as temperature. The basis for such a control design is a good model of the actuator. In this thesis, a system model will be derived for a new electromechanical actuator through system identification. A system model is created in MATLAB/Simulink and validated through the integration of the model into the control unit at a hardware-in-the-loop test stand."
