Abstract

"This Mater Thesis is a further development of the work on Drive-by-Wire power train vehicle model developed under MATLAB/SIMULINK. This work involves the development and integration of 'Active Driving Safety Systems' (i.e. ABS, ASR, ESP and Differential) in order to apply a new concept of real-time feedback of aggregates (i.e. which are useful to drive the vehicle) . With in the scope of the project 'Active Driving Safety Systems' were developed and integrated in to the vehicle model for attaining better dynamic stability. The models are evaluated by simulations. Designing of 2nd order transfer functions for the power pack, braking and steering aggregates(i.e. which are useful to create motion vector) were done to send the feedback information from vehicle model to the intelligence module. By using feedback it is possible to give its maximal capacity, its dead time and maximal rate to the controllers which are using the aggregates(i.e. motion vector aggregates), with this optimization it is possible to downsize the action of the driver. Further development of my thesis work, the identification of the motion vector's quality factor in order to find the optimum motion vector during the simulation of SPARC architecture with the fusion of all these aggregates (i.e. power pack, braking and steering) information will be done."
